@juicedmonkey1111 Yeah. I exceeded expectations too. I’m sure Scooby WAY exceeded the expectations and should have known to trash his formula.

I would only use that chart as a rough estimate. Its useful, but I don’t believe in a maximum genetic potential you can derive from any equation.

People are just way too different, not only genetically, but hormonally. Testosterone specifically sets your limit once you hit a certain point.

Most peoples limitation is a mental one that wouldn’t allow them to reach their peak anyway. Just train like a beast focusing on your goal, eat properly, allow recovery time, and it will sort itself out.

@Ru55ianGrim whey (that concentrate and isolate crap) bloats your gut big time, tis why pro competing bodybuilders are always bloated on the gut among having huge guts from steroids.

  5. Juggernaut76 says:

    @laCruz40oz

Whey doesn’t “bloat your gut” at all unless you have digestive issues or poor enzyme counts. Even if so it would be equivalent in duration to a meal having the same effect, not long term. I don’t bloat at all from whey.

Pros get big solid bellies (not bloated) from steroid usage causing abs to grow larger and growth hormone taken way beyond therapeutic amounts.

i’ve been doind ur intermediate workouts and it has helped improve my running performance, my time has dropped by 15% in 3 weeks.

:( it gave me a low genetic potential and I think its right, cuz that’s the weight i looked ripped at. Its pretty accurate, but slightly depressing. You want to believe that you can get as big as they do in the magazines, but its not reality.

Entering week 10 of the stronglifts program. I have been very impressed with the results. I bulk up pretty easily though, even for a guy my age.

hey scooby how much do you weigh now a days you seem to have slimmed down from your other videos. im not 1 2 judge as i can be considered “portly” but you seem alot thinner from that video when you did the drop sets? have you been focussing more on cardio because either way u look great

  12. YarsifaPlays says:

Yo man, just took your little calculator test thing. I dunno about the lifetime gain calculation but the first year calculation was way off. I’ve gained 6.5 pounds of muscle in 4 and a half months AND my body fat percentage has gone DOWN, so it may be even more than that. Your calculator said it’d take me a year to gain 5 pounds, it’s already wrong and I have 7 and a half months to go. I’m a 6ft ectomorph working out 5 hours a week, I currently weigh 127 pounds and I wanna hit 165

What’s up, Scooby (and Community)? Watched you on/off in 2011 and with everyone on Youtube involved in Ian McCarthy/Hodge Twins controversy referencing you (all in a good way it seems) I figured surely I, as an Old Shit, can learn something from you! :o ) Here’s to a prosperous and educational New Year! ;0)

@Juggernaut76 whey is highly processed concentrated protein made from a lab that the body doesnt even recognize, it stays in your gut and all that protein is barely used. pros get bellies not only cause their abs are big, but because their organs also grow with steroid use. oh and theyre also bloated from all that eating.

“whey is highly processed concentrated protein made from a lab that the body doesnt even recognize”

Real whey is made from milk by adding an enzyme that causes certain proteins to clump up and stick. Whey is the protein type that refuses to group up. The lumps are basically cottage cheese or curds and the rest is mostly whey. If a supplement company adds artificials or uses a dirty separation process it isn’t the wheys fault.

  24. jrzy49 says:

@bubbatub777777777 Creatine is only good for emptying your wallet. Not to mention the medical bills down the road if you continue using it.
